Welcome to Ramani Caterers. We are a family owned business with a focus on Speciality Vegetarian Catering and Wedding Planning services.

Ramani Caterers, have been serving clients since the turn of the millenium. With the help of well-wishers and a committed team we started out by providing traditional meals for small functions. The positive feedback and the confidence of our clients helped us move on providing wedding management services for patrons from the South Indian community.

For the last 20 years then we have constantly endeavoured to improve both the quality of the food preparations and service. We have managed numerous traditional South Indian weddings and successfully catered for a number of high profile social functions. We have also widened our client-base and successfully managed catering for clients from Kannadiga, Maharasthrian, Gujarati and Punjabi communities. We have now developed capabilities to undertake jobs that are demanding in both scope and scale.

Going forward we intend to bring more allied wedding related services into our scope and thus taking steps towards providing truly end-to-end wedding management services. We are continuously on look out for talented staff and enterprising vendors who can provide the quality that can significantly raise the experience at our events. As always, we intend to continue providing personal attention by ensuring that every major outdoor function is supervised by a partner.

The Team
C. V. Subramanian (Ramani)

Subramanian called Ramani by his friends, is a self-made entrepreneur who started the organisation from ground up. Even before he started the business he had extensive experience working closely with his uncle who was a caterer based out of Mumbai. All these went hand-in-hand with his primary occupation as a salaried employee. In the mid 90s he started tiffin service from home. In the late 90s he took voluntary retirement and embarked upon the catering business. With deep understanding of the intricacies of South Indian cuisine he was able to micro manage all preparations thus ensuring authenticity in taste. It is this quality along with his ability to bring people together that has enabled him to successfully grow the organisation to where it is today.

Vinod Iyer

Vinod, son of Subramanian, has been involved in the business for more than 10 years. He is done BE (Electronics) and is an MBA in Marketing. Prior to joining the business full time he was working in the field of Market Research. He simultaneously undertook managing weddings and outdoor functions on his own during weekends. After 7 years in the corporate world he plunged into the family business armed with understanding of customer expectations and processes. Having travelled extensively he has wide understanding of the popular cuisines across India and the world. He is particularly keen on ensuring that the dishes are full of flavour and presented tastefully.
